Ratings & Reviews of Hilton San Jose
  1. Great Little Spot by Meggan F. at InsiderPages
The City Bar and Grill is a cool little spot inside the Hilton Hotel to go out with the girls or with the whole crew. Get some good drinks and some great food. Casual atmosphere, big TV's, what more can you ask for. (Citysearch User, 06/02/2008)

  2. Hilton -San Jose by Cathy M. at InsiderPages
The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large, very clean, with lots of ammenities. We have stayed the night a few times, and have always enjoyed ourselves. The pool/spa area is great. The food was also incredible. I highly recommend this hotel! (Citysearch User, 05/27/2008)

  5. a good night's sleep
This Hilton recently put in new mattresses and bed linens, and let me tell you, they're heaven. One of the best night's sleep I've ever had, especially in a hotel room (and I'm an insomniac with a bad back). Mattress was soft yet supportive, linens smooth and elegant, pillows not too overstuffed. I am seriously considering getting the same ones the next time I buy a mattress/linens. Decor is nice, rich colors but not overpowering. Executive breakfast was not amazing but decent, with excellent service of a caliber usually only found in country clubs or classier cruise ships. Parking is ridiculously priced, of course, as at most hotels. Superb view over the valley. Convenient to pretty much anything you could want downtown. In the still of the night, you can hear the light rail going by, but I found it soothing, like the ocean or crickets. (teresathegreat1, 09/25/2006)

  6. It DID'NT happen for me at this Hilton
I am sorry to add this review, however after no valet, and a bellman with "are you gonna ask for help" attitude, I cannot recommend this hotel! The City bar needs to be a little more realistic with the menu prices. (bigrudy, 12/01/2005)
