Ratings & Reviews of Office Max
  1. Good at what they do by Ruth T. at InsiderPages
Unlike the other reviewer of this store, I don't expect O-Max to be anything beyond the basic core staples place they claim to be. They don't have to be Fry's or carry the breadth of an online electronics store to outfit a startup; they have to have my basic ongoing consumables, and since FedEx has taken and trashed Kinko's, their hours for getting photocopies are some of the best in town. What goes beyond plain decent 3 stars for this location is the excellent service I've gotten at the printing/copying counter at the back of the store. The folks here are competent and ready to share a laugh; and printing out docs from your thumb drive is handy and easily done. I like 'em just fine. (Citysearch User, 05/19/2007)

  2. Horrible, horrible selection by Paul C. at InsiderPages
Working in a startup just down the street, I tried this place for some office equipment, and I was shocked and appalled at just how little high-tech gear was available. Basic things, like power strips, were in short supply (or had no options). Simple dot-com staples like ethernet cables were hard to find. It seemed like nothing I needed was available at this store. It was the Office Max that HQ forgot... PROS: Convenient from 101 CONS: Miserably understocked (Citysearch User, 08/18/2006)
