Absolutely horrible avoid them at all cost.
Other than the fact that they are cheap there is no redeeming qualities about this place at all.
I left my dogs with the Pleasanton Pet Hotel when my wife and I went to Disneyland. As we are about to leave to return home I get a message that my dog had injured herself on their crate. They needed authorization to charge an examination fee for their vet to look at her and confirm that she was not seriously injured.
I immediately called them and asked how she could injure herself while under their "care and supervision". The response was "she must have gotten too excited and hurt her tail on the crate this fairly common". I want to emphasize my dog injured herself inside THEIR CRATE not running around during a free play. A basic assumption when leaving my pet with anyone is their equipment should be of an adequate quality to ensure my dog was not at risk of injury.
My wife and I regularly leave our dogs in a crate when we go to work and have boarded them with other kennels many times in the past. She has never once injured herself and is actually extremely docile in a crate. The only thing I can conclude is that either she was injured because there is a defect in their equipment or she got in an altercation with another pet being boarded. Either way it is unsatisfactory way to handle THEIR RESPONSIBILITY of caring for my pet whose safety I entrusted to them.
The injury aside; the fact that to even examine her they wanted to charge me tells me they do not care about the pets placed in their care. I liken this to leaving my child with a daycare and my child being injured on their equipment and the daycare charging me a basic first aid fee. When I explained my opinion to the manager she informed me that "when I left my dogs in their care I released all rights and liability against them".
Ultimately their prices are cheap, their facilities seem adequate but if your pet is injured while under their care they feel no obligation.
