WORST CAR SERVICE YOU CAN ASK FOR
Sears Auto Center makes me so angry I feel inclined to sit there to deter all their customers from getting anything done there. I went in to CHANGE A TIRE and they ended up SAWING OFF MY TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR. Now, I'm driving a car that is only 3 months old and went in for what I thought was a simple task. They ordered a replacement part for me and said that they would "take care of it". When I came in again, they said that replacing the tire pressure sensor was very simple and they'll just put it on and reprogram my car computer. They placed the part on (I think) and put the wheel back on but then I see the mechanic sitting in my car reading the manual. When I ask him what he was doing, he said that he was trying to "see how to make the light go off". They had NO IDEA how to reprogram the car! They were going to just MESS AROUND with it until it worked. Seriously?? With a new car? I got my car out of the place ASAP, before they crashed my car's computer. I heard from the manager that the shop is under new management and that the previous reviews should be ignored but really, I don't think the new management is doing much better. AVOID SEARS AT ALL COST!!
If you're still uncertain, go check out their review on yelp . com. They've messed up a ridiculous number of oil changes as well.
