Zeitgeist is my favorite bar ever!
And I have been to A LOT! Drinks are reasonably priced and not skimpy. Patrons are cool and for the most part friendly. Staff has been nothing but professional and on top of things. If you don't suck, you won't have a problem. As with the rest of the world, be cool and not a douche and you will have fun! Some of my best times in life have been getting drunk IN THE SUN in San Francisco at Zeitgeist with a bunch of punkers I did not know. Awesome hamburgers and really good veggie burgers, btw. the place to be
awesome place to hang out outdoors in the mission. ambience is unbeatable in the city. unfortunately you have to wait hella days to order a drink at one of the very orderly lines at the bar. i just don't think it's worth it most of the time. i mean, if i already have a couple in me... maybe. good place to hang with a group, or meet new people./P ... horrible bar service
Good beer selection, but not good enough to make up for the horrific service and rundown, dirty atmosphere. If the the bartenders weren't so rude I would have maybe thought this place to have a bit of gritty charm, but because of some uncalled for violence that myself and my guests recieved from one of the bartenders this place is just not worth anyones time. That is unless you like being treated badly, maybe simply because you don't fit a certain profile. I think this place used to be better
All of my friends used to love this place, but whenever I've gone here it's been kind of a letdown. There IS a patio which is nice, but you'd be better off in one of the parks.
